Experience you can count on

Adam started out on Grandpa's farm learning how to work on tractors and farm life before getting into the dairy industry during high school up until he started college for maintenance. He also spent a lot of time with his dad in the garage learning how to work on small garden tractors and engines which have many similarities to the air cooled aircraft engines he works on now.

He was previously employed by Kalitta Air/STS working on Boeing 747s and other Boeing aircraft as a Line Maintenance Technician while also taking care of the fleet of parked aircraft that were used for parts. From there he did a short contract with Republic Airways/PlaneTechs during a marital status change to work on Embraer 170/190 series aircraft on a C-check crew and managed to incorporate some changes into their contract mechanic program to increase productivity. When things calmed and returned to normal, he was hired by ExpressJet Airlines working on CRJ series aircraft as a line maintenance technician obtaining RII, OJT trainer, OJT evaluator, and engine run/taxi qualifications before becoming a lead mechanic. When the station at DTW closed, he took another contract with STS working on Airbus and  Boeing aircraft as a evening supervisor overseeing the GoGo Wi-Fi installation on Delta Airlines' fleet. After some ongoing divorce and custody battles interfered with employment schedule, he was terminated and turned FlyBoyz Aviation from a fun side job to a full-time operation due to growing demand in the General Aviation community throughout the Thumb Region.

Now he is in high demand flying around the country doing pre-buy inspections, Electronic Ignition installations & tech support for ElectroAir, and offering aircraft management or consult services to corporate customers while implementing maintenance programs that are cost effective and increase aircraft reliability.
